Catherine Regina Gammon Dudley made her transition from this life quietly on Friday January 29, 2021.
Cathy was born at the former Bluefield Sanitorium Hospital
to William Thomas Gammon and Louise Byrd Gammon.
Cathy along with her brothers were nurtured into adulthood by their loving parents.
She received her education from Mora Elementary School, McComas, WVa;and Montcalm High School. And later after her family relocated, she went to Northfork High School in Northfork WVA.
Cathy was baptized at an early age, at the New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, where the Pastor was the late R. M. Harris.
Catherine loved her family; and her many, many friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Dudley, who was a US Army Veteran (No children were born to this union) however, Cathy was a mom figure to two step-sons-Thomas Jr. and Maurice Dudley. many, many children loved Ms. Cathy; and she was the one all parents could depend on.
Maternal grandparents, Cephus Byrd, and Pennia Byrd, and her Paternal grandparents Thomas Gammon and Mary Gammon, and Her Father William Thomas Gammon.
She is survived by her mother Mrs. Louise B. Gammon, of Bluefield WVA Her Siblings: William A Gammon, Sr. (Connie), Roanoke VA, Michael T. Gammon, and (Michaela his daughter of the home) Bluefield, WVA, Gregory K. Gammon, of Northfork, WVA, Jeffery L. Gammon, Elkhorn WVA.
