Carolyne "Sue" Carter, age 76 of Bluefield, WV passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born January 3, 1947 she was a daughter of the late Willis and Elma O'Donnell. Sue loved spending time with her family and was an amazing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Until recently, she never missed any of her grandkids ballgames, she was always there to support them and show them she was one of their biggest fans. She dearly loved her dogs, going to auctions and thrift stores, working in her flower garden and watching WWE. Sue had a massive collection of jewelry for just about every holiday or event, pocketbooks to match, and her perfect pink lipstick. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Carter and all eight of her siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Melissa Hager and husband, Alan of Bluefield, WV and Joanna Kendrick and husband Kevin of Montcalm, WV; grandchildren, Miranda Quesinberry and wife, Chelsea, Katie Bailey and husband, Bobby, Brittany Rose and husband, Jon, Hayley Kendrick and Parker Kendrick; great grandchildren, Emmi, Jay and Ollie; and her dogs, Tabby and Boo.

The family will receive friends at 11:00AM, Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Princeton, WV with services beginning at 12:00PM with Pastor Steve Poore officiating. Graveside services will immediately follow at Bradley Cemetery in Linside, WV.
