Carol "Lucille" Lusk, 93 of Bluefield, WV passed away Friday, May 10, 2024, at her home. Born May 12, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Starling and Martha Pruitt. Lucille was of the Christian faith and was a member of Greenview United Methodist Church for approximately 75 years. Lucille worked at National Coil, which is when she met her first husband and decided to stay at home and raise their growing family. Later, she returned to work at Rockwell International until they closed. Lucille served in the Civil Air Patrol for many years and worked in the voting polls at Ceres school for decades. Lucille enjoyed being outside working in her garden growing vegetables and planting flowers.

In addition to her parents, Lucille is preceded in death by her first husband, Stanley Shields and her second husband, Stewart "Ed" Lusk; three children, Diana Estep, Joyce Untiedt and Roger Shields; two brothers, Jim Tom Pruitt and Charles Pruitt; four sisters, Boyd Pruitt, Mary Belcher, Margaret Goodwin and Bonnie Zeoli; three sons in law, Fred Pettrey, Tom Untiedt, and Johnny Estep; and one granddaughter in law, Donna Pettrey.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Carol Pettrey; son, Todd Lusk; grandchildren, Brett Pettrey, Charles Lowe, Christy Croye, Jason Untiedt, Jerod Untiedt, Ryan Shields, and Hunter Shields; great grandchildren, Chase Lowe, Kylie Croye, Joey Croye, Damien Untiedt and Isabella Shields, ; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00PM-1:00PM, Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Princeton, WV with Minister Marva Smearman officiating. Funeral services will begin at 1:00PM. Committal services will follow in the mausoleum. Brett Pettrey, Charles Lowe, Jason Untiedt, Jerod Untiedt, Butch Belcher, and Jimmy Hurt will serve as pallbearers.
