IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brenda G.
Payne
May 1, 1947 – March 26, 2023
Brenda Gale (Young) Payne gained her angel wings on Sunday March 26th, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a loving mother to two, her son in Heaven Les and her precious baby girl, Kim (Tommy). She was a Mamaw to four grandchildren Amanda (J-me), Kevin (Autum), TJ (Michael), and Leslie (Adam). She had 6 great-grandbabies, Jack, Warren, Letty, Violet, Ian, and Ivy, that she absolutely adored. Drake, Ethan, and Sarah, were always there to visit her and spoil her. Also left to cherish her memory are her siblings Betty Jo (Rodney), Marlene (Larry), Connie, and Sam (Lou) and the father of her children, Kenneth. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will be remembered for generations to come.
To know her was to love her. She had a child-like wonder in her heart that only seemed to strengthen with age. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She told everyone she met to call her "Mamaw", and they did. She made friendships throughout all stages of her life that she carried with her until the end of her time. Mamaw never met a stranger and would give her last $5 to someone in need. She had the biggest, kindest heart imaginable, so big it's a wonder it didn't burst with all the love she carried.
Mamaw loved her friends, she loved her family, and most importantly, she loved her God.
Funeral Services will begin at 12pm, March 31, 2023 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Princeton, WV with burial immediately following. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Roselawn Funeral Home will be serving the Payne family
