Beverly Dawn Tinney of Lewisburg, WV passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, WV. She was a daughter of the late Ralph Turner Tinney and Elvin Marie Hopkins Tinney. Dawn was of the Christian faith and loved going to church. Dawn loved listening to music, especially Elvis. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, going out to eat, to the movies and spending time with her sisters. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Turner Tinney, Jr.
She is survived by two sisters, Janice Gheen of Charlottesville, VA and Sheila Borosky of Lewisburg, WV; four nieces, Sharon Bragg, Kay Borosky, Jennifer Coleman, and Jodi Tibbs; two nephews, E. Harold Rotenberry, John Borosky Jr. and other extended family members.
The family would like to acknowledge Angela Smith, Teresa Ayers, and Stephanie Williamson for the loving care they provided Dawn.
There will be a visitation held in Lewisburg, WV at Morgan Funeral Home on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 1:00-2:00 PM.
The family will also receive friends at Roselawn Funeral Home in Princeton, WV on December 3, 2022 from 12:00-1:00 PM where funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM with Diane Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Princeton, WV.
Pallbearers will be E. Harold Rotenberry, John Borosky Jr., Ethan Borosky, David Tibbs, Adam Tibbs, Robert Bragg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Special Olympics, the Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
